Discover Syria Rally

The Syrian Automobile Club’s activities were not limited by sporting competitions. One of the most famous activities was the Discover Syria Rally, which was a fascinating touristic destination.
Since it was launched in 2003, this Rally focuses on visiting Syria’s main touristic, and ancient, sights in the country to expose this civilised side in a fun, attractive way for all the participants, with many foreign, and famous, people taking part in these events.
The participants in the Discover Syria Rally would rely on a roadbook from the Syrian Automobile Club, which included many signals and measurements for each part of the road. The participant would gain points by passing through all the mentioned checkpoints, in specific times, according to the roadbook. As a result, Discover Syria Rally didn’t rely on speed, but on following the instructions precisely.
